Course Description:  This course will cover the standard air intake systems used on all two-stroke cycle and four-stroke cycle engines.  The information taught in this course can be applied to virtually all gas engines and is very comprehensive in all areas of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.  This course is recommended for anyone who is responsible for the operation and servicing of reciprocating engine air intake systems as well as those who desire a thorough understanding of turbocharger and blower theory and technology not easily attained in the field.

Course Description:  This course will cover the general requirements for lubrication and coolants used in two-stroke cycle and four-stroke cycle industrial stationary engines and compression equipment to include force feed lubrication systems.  We will look at the critical reasons for doing analysis of both lubrication and coolant products.  We will go through data analysis examples as well as discuss reading and understanding the associated reports and taking necessary action to prevent any damage to the equipment.

Tools and Their Uses

Course Description:  This course provides the foundation for the selection and use of a variety of hand tools, precision measuring tools and large/specialty tools used in the practical applications in our industry.  Safety requirements, general care and limited repair will also be covered.  The proper selection and use of a tool for a job or task will be taught with safety in mind.  Without the proper tool and the knowledge of how to use the tool, the employee wastes time, reduces efficiency and may face injury.
